What a whirlwind of emotions and events has 2020 been. Some of us experienced new lows and new highs. Yet overall, we can say that 2020 was a year full of growth. That is something to be proud of because you learned how to navigate a new world and go with the flow every day.
For once, there was no planning ahead—no scheduling of events, birthdays, get-togethers, vacations, or family time. You were just stuck at home and had to stay put unless it was an emergency. For the first time, we all finally got a break to stay home and hit the pause button. That is also something to be grateful for about this crazy year because we could get some much-needed self-care and family time.
Now, let us look ahead with a positive mindset that this year will be much better, and we can only go up from here! As always, remember to check in on your friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors because we all need a little encouragement and someone to lean on during this time.
